The screw hole blanking plug has been designed to aid with the bonding of external products such as fridge vents, locker doors and external gas points. Some frames don’t have an adequate sealing surface around the screw hole to contain a sufficient amount of sealant to locate. The screw hole plugs blank out the screw hole and add an extra couple of millimetres of sealant around the hole. Sealants such as Bostik STR360 can be used to bond the frame onto the wall of the vehicle as a replacement to screws and reduce the possibility of water ingress.
