Flexible Gas Bottle Holder (NO STRAP) - designed to fit FLO GAS and Calor gas bottles. A 20kg gas bottle was connected to a standard DLS Plastics Gas Bottle Holder, using a DLS supplied webbed strap. This was then suspended from a hydraulic lift using M5 countersunk bolts screwed into a metal block. A certificated lifting sling is then used to connect the gas bottle to a dead weight to a total of 87.5kg. Using the hydraulic lift the gas bottle is raised in conjunction with the dead weight to test the strain and breakage resistance of the component. The Gas Bottle Holder is capable of holding a weight equivalent to 4 x the weight of a standard gas bottle (20kg).
